Clikthrough Adds 25 New Interactive Videos, New Features and a New Round of Financing

Interactive video analytics and encoding company expands video and artist roster with a host of music stars. Clikthrough also reports new features for its flagship Traffic Jam(tm) analytics package, iPhone mobile capabilities, and $1 million round of financing.

San Francisco, CA – July 17, 2009 – Clikthrough Inc., a privately funded interactive video entertainment company, debuted 25 new interactive music videos today on its website, www.clikthrough.com. In addition to its expanded content library and artist roster, Clikthrough announced an enhanced video analytics product called Traffic Jam™, iPhone mobile compatibility for its Clikthrough Theater, and a new round of financing from influential figures in the music business.

The 25 new music videos now playing on Clikthrough’s website showcase some of the biggest names in the music world, including Lady GaGa, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. The interactive videos introduce uninitiated fans to what Clikthrough CEO Abe McCallum calls "the total engagement experience,” where all the underlying information relating to everything you see in a video is available to consumers at the click of a mouse for further browsing, sharing, or purchase.

"Now the fun begins," stated McCallum. "By significantly increasing the video content on the Clikthrough website, fans will get to see more of their favorite stars performing on our totally interactive video canvas, which they control and explore with a mouse click."

By way of explanation, Clikthrough's CEO shared video engagement data from the first four videos on the website. "The current videos on the site from The Script and Natasha Bedingfield average over 4.1 in-video "Cliks" per play. In terms of engaging the video consumer on a deeper level, these numbers really speak for themselves. The revenue opportunities and other possibilities our technology creates for content owners, artists and advertisers are almost unlimited."

In addition to its content expansion, Clikthrough announced a new version of its proprietary analytics package, named Traffic Jam™. This package tracks over 50 unique in-stream and out-stream consumer video engagement behaviors and metrics, allowing content owners to drill down into, compare and cross-reference content performance data in more than 5,500 different ways.

Also included in Clikthrough's announcements are new platform capabilities for the Clikthrough Theater on the iPhone and other mobile browsers. The Clikthrough Theater already supports Windows Media Theater, QuickTime, Flash, H.264/avc, and many other formats, but as McCallum related, “Since more and more people now access the web using phones, we wanted to provide an easy way for people to experience Clikthrough videos on the go."

Lastly, Clikthrough announced today that it secured $1 million in new financing from a host of stellar names in the music business. These investors include Max Martin, the Swedish Grammy-nominated music producer and songwriter; Savan Kotecha, the hit-making songwriter whose skills have helped sell over 35 million records; Nicky Byrne, who has sold over 40 million albums worldwide as leader of the Irish band Westlife, and Wayne Wilkins, the chart topping UK music producer and writer.

"Big things are happening here, and we’re excited to get a larger share of the public involved in what we’re doing," McCallum said in describing the flurry of Clikthrough news. "Our interactive dream for the future of video is now a reality."
